24-hour direct support by phone and email. On-site support during business hours.
A box on your doorstep tells you one thing: your order has arrived. It doesn’t tell you who will help when a setup question holds up the job, or who will answer when your customer needs support later.
For system integrators, resellers and installers, those questions matter. Your customer is relying on you to recommend a suitable solution, deliver a working setup and help when something changes. You should be able to rely on the supplier behind you.
Moving a box is easy. Standing behind what’s inside it is the part that matters.
At NZTeco, our team brings 20+ years of experience with ZKTeco. We support installers, integrators, resellers and end customers through product selection, setup, handover and ongoing use. That commitment runs across the products and solutions we sell.

Different products. The same commitment.
Our range covers time and attendance, CCTV surveillance, access control, turnstiles, vehicle barriers, video intercoms, smart door locks, ARMATURA and ZKDigimax digital signage. The equipment and software vary. Our commitment to helping the customer stays the same.
Whether you are specifying equipment, quoting a customer or working through setup on site, product knowledge needs to translate into practical help. The hardware, software and people using it all need to be considered.
Bring us the customer’s requirements, the equipment already in place and the questions you need answered. We can help you work through the options across our product range before you commit to a particular setup.
20+ years with ZKTeco, put to work for you
Long-standing product knowledge helps us ask useful questions early: what does your customer need to achieve, what is already installed, and who will use and manage the solution?
It also matters when the answer isn’t on the first page of a brochure. A setting needs checking. A software workflow needs explaining. An installer or IT team needs help working through a compatibility question.
That is where we get involved. We work through the question with your team and help identify the next step. You bring knowledge of your customer and the site; we bring experience with the products and software we supply.
Going the extra mile is often practical: talking through a configuration, helping you understand a software workflow or staying involved while a project question is worked through. That support matters when you are the person your customer is looking to for an answer.
Your reputation is on the job. The supplier behind you should take that seriously.
Hands-on help through setup and handover
A successful demonstration is a useful start. Handover should prepare your customer’s team to use the solution tomorrow, and leave your own team clear on how to get help.
We help with setup questions and training around the work people need to do. Depending on the solution, that might involve managing users, working with reports or getting familiar with the software.
Before the project reaches handover, agree what completion looks like. Your team and your customer should know:
- How to carry out the everyday tasks that matter to the people using the system.
- Who has the appropriate system access and where to find relevant documentation.
- What has been set up and whether any agreed work remains outstanding.
- Who is responsible for maintenance, software updates and backups where applicable.
- Who to contact when you need help.
Clear responsibilities help everyone. We support the products and software we supply, working alongside the installer, system integrator or IT provider delivering the project.
The aim is a handover your customer feels confident about, backed by a supplier your team can call when the next question comes up.
When your customer needs help, who can you call?
We take calls and emails 24 hours a day for direct support. On-site support is available during business hours.
Support needs change over time. A new administrator takes over. A business changes a workflow. Existing data needs moving or software needs adapting. The original purchase should not be the end of the conversation.
At Pharmapac in Auckland, Integrated Security Services designed, installed and commissioned a ten-door access-control upgrade. NZTeco supplied the hardware and provided backend support. The installer led the delivery, with NZTeco’s product knowledge supporting the project. See the Pharmapac case study.
At the New Zealand College of Chiropractic (NZCC) in Auckland, ZKTeco terminals and ZKBio Time were used for classroom attendance. We still support the college regularly, including software customisation and data migration as its needs develop. The relationship continues well beyond the original equipment supply. Read the NZCC case study.
At Oracle Autos in Penrose, a move from ZKBio Time 9.0 to ZKBio Time Cloud came with software training from NZTeco and continued support. The business’s requirements changed, and our involvement continued. Read the Oracle Autos story.
Six questions to ask your next supplier
The unit price is easy to compare. The support behind it deserves the same attention, especially when your own time and customer relationship are involved. Put these questions to every supplier, including us:
- What is included beyond the product? Ask what setup help, software, licences and training are included, and what carries a separate cost.
- Who helps us check the proposed solution? Ask about compatibility with the customer’s existing equipment and software before you finalise the quote.
- Who can our team call during setup? Establish the technical support contact before someone is on site needing an answer.
- What help is available for handover? Agree the training and everyday tasks your team and the customer need to understand.
- What happens when the customer’s needs change? Ask about ongoing support, software changes or migration needs, availability and any associated costs.
- What do existing customers say? Look for feedback about product knowledge, helpfulness and support after the sale.
The unit price is only one part of your project cost. Time spent troubleshooting, returning to site or chasing answers counts too. Make sure the support behind the quote is clear.
Judge us by the support our customers receive
NZTeco is the Official ZKTeco Partner for New Zealand. We want to be the supplier you are comfortable calling when you need product advice, technical help or support with a customer’s changing requirements.
Whether you buy for your own organisation or supply and install for others, the aim is the same: a suitable solution, people who know how to use it and a clear path to help.
Our customers are better placed to describe that experience than we are. In a Google review displayed on our testimonials page, Jon wrote:
“Rey knows his product and made sure we were set up and trained.”
Read the reviews. Ask us the difficult questions. Tell us where you need a hand.
Your customer sees your name on the job. Choose a supplier prepared to stand behind you.
Talk to NZTeco about your next project or supply requirement. Tell us what your customer needs, what you are working with and where you need support. We can help you work through the next step.
