ZKBioSecurity V5000 has been discontinued and replaced by zkbio cvsecurity. Existing V5000 installs continue to be supported for the migration window. This page covers V5000 specs for sites still running it, and the migration path to ZKBio CVSecurity ? including hardware compatibility, database migration and license transfer.
If you’re running ZKBioSecurity V5000 in production, this page is for you. The V5000 was ZKTeco’s enterprise web-based security platform ? up to 30,000 users, 2,000 doors, integrated access control, time-and-attendance, visitor management and parking modules. It’s been replaced by zkbio cvsecurity, which keeps the multi-module architecture and adds modern container-based deployment, native cloud options and updated hardware support.
The migration is software-side, not hardware-side. Your existing access controllers, biometric terminals, readers, electric strikes and maglocks all continue to work ? the platform change doesn’t require a hardware replacement. What does need attention is the database, the user directory and the licensing.
This page stays live as a reference for sites still running the platform ? spec, deployment notes and migration guidance. For new projects, specify ZKBio CVSecurity instead.
