The ZKTeco uFace402 Plus is the T&A-and-access sibling of the uFace401 ? same 4.3-inch touchscreen, same multi-biometric set (face, palm, fingerprint, card optional), with full lock-output and door-controller integration for sites that want one terminal handling both clock-in and door release. Optional Wi-Fi or 3G, optional backup battery. Default mid-tier indoor pick for NZ small-to-mid offices that don’t want a separate access controller.
The 402 Plus is the version of the uFace 4-series specified when the terminal is wired directly to the door’s strike or maglock and does double duty as both T&A clock and access controller. No separate panel, no Wiegand chain back to a comms cupboard ? just one device on the wall doing both jobs.
Both terminals share the same biometric capability, screen and capacity. The 401 is positioned as a T&A clock first, with optional door integration. The 402 is positioned with full door-access integration as the default ? the wiring layout, internal relay configuration and supplied accessories are tuned for sites where the door release is part of the day-one install. If the install is “T&A clock with maybe a door” specify 401; if it’s “T&A clock and the door it opens” specify 402.
