Make everyday door access easier to manage

The ZKTeco SenseFace 4 Series brings facial recognition, card access and visitor communication together at the door. It suits staff entrances, offices, warehouses and shared facilities where people need a straightforward way in, while managers need control over who can enter and when. Choose the SenseFace 4A when you also want fingerprint authentication, or the SenseFace 4B for face, card and PIN access.

A 4.3-inch colour touchscreen gives users a clear place to authenticate. Visible light facial recognition works at a specified distance of 30cm to 200cm, with authentication in less than 0.35 seconds. Anti-spoofing technology helps detect attempts using photographs or videos. Card and PIN options give you alternatives when a biometric method is unsuitable for a particular user.

SenseFace 4A or 4B: which should you choose?

• SenseFace 4A: face, fingerprint, RFID card and password authentication. Its in-glass Z-ID fingerprint sensor adds a second biometric option, with fingerprint authentication in less than 0.5 seconds.
• SenseFace 4B: face, RFID card and password authentication. Choose this model when your entry policy does not require fingerprints.
• Standard-version capacity: both models support 6,000 face templates, 8,000 users, 8,000 cards and 200,000 transactions. The 4A also stores 8,000 fingerprint templates.

Set access around the way your site works

Access levels, groups and holiday settings let you organise entry around departments, working hours and restricted areas. TCP/IP provides the wired network connection. A shared Wiegand input or output and ZKTeco RS485 interface support integration with suitable access hardware. USB Type-A is for a USB drive. Wi-Fi, 13.56MHz IC card support and the wireless doorbell are optional; the standard card reader uses 125kHz ID credentials. Specify your existing card technology before ordering.

Talk to visitors before opening the door

Built-in video intercom gives you a way to speak with someone at the entrance through a compatible system. The terminal supports Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) 2.0 and ONVIF. ZKTeco lists VT07-B22L and VT07-B26L-W indoor monitors for the SIP route, and VT07-B01 and VT07-B01-W for its separate private protocol over TCP/IP.

For an existing intercom or video system, confirm the receiving device, firmware and required functions before specifying the terminal. A shared protocol is a starting point for integration, rather than a guarantee that every feature will work with every third-party device.

Choose the software around the job

Use ZKBio CVAccess with AC PUSH for access control, or ZKBio Time with TA PUSH for attendance. The firmware supports switching between those push protocols. ZKBio Zlink provides a cloud platform with a web portal and mobile app, using the supported BEST protocol connection.

Plan the installation before ordering

The slim housing mounts on a wall and supports an Asia gang box or single gang box. Allow for a DC 12V 3A supply, network cabling and the door hardware your installation requires. The IP65 rating helps with dust and water exposure, but site suitability also depends on the specified -5°C to 45°C operating temperature, non-condensing conditions and how connections are protected.
