ZKTeco uFace202 Plus: Time Attendance & Access Control

The ZKTeco uFace202 Plus is the entry-level uFace ? face and palm recognition standard, with optional fingerprint, card and password modules. 3,000 face and palm templates, 4.3-inch touchscreen, TCP/IP and optional Wi-Fi or 3G. The right pick for NZ small-business T&A and access control where face is the primary mode and other modes can be added incrementally as the site grows.

Description

The 202 Plus is the configurable entry into the uFace range. Buy it with face and palm only for the lowest upfront cost, then add fingerprint and card modules later when the site needs them. Same hardware, same software, same enrolment workflow ? just add the modes as they’re needed.

How it differs from the rest of the uFace range

  • vs 302 Plus: The 302 ships with fingerprint and RFID standard. The 202 has them optional. Pick the 202 when you don’t need them on day one and want to minimise upfront cost; pick the 302 when both are confirmed requirements.
  • vs 401/402 Plus: The 4-series adds backup battery options and full door-access integration. Pick the 4-series for sites with unreliable power or single-door installs without separate access controllers.
  • vs MB560-VL: The MB560-VL is the 2.8-inch screen, 3,000-template entry-level option from a different family. The 202 has the larger 4.3-inch screen and the optional-module approach.
