The Armatura Aegis-3000 Series is a single-lane, full-height rotating turnstile for controlled pedestrian access where a durable physical barrier and a compact 550mm lane are appropriate. The series includes the base Aegis-3000, Aegis-3011 with RFID, and Aegis-3022 with fingerprint and RFID access control.
Aegis-3000 combines a full-height rotating barrier with visual guidance built into the vertical column: a green arrow indicates allowed passage and a red cross indicates denied passage. The manufacturer specifies single- or bi-directional operation and movement speed of up to 30 people per minute. This makes the series appropriate for controlled entry points where reducing unauthorised passage is as important as managing the normal flow of people.
The base Aegis-3000 provides the turnstile platform. Aegis-3011 adds RFID access control, while Aegis-3022 adds fingerprint and RFID access control. EP10, EP20 or third-party readers are listed as credential options. Reader, controller, credential and software selection should be matched to the project; the gate itself is one part of a wider access-control system.
For an integrated installation, combine the turnstile with an AHSC-1000 primary controller, an EP10C reader, or compatible EP20 Series readers.
The manufacturer’s Aegis-3000 product page lists SUS201 construction with a black powder-coat finish for the barrier, cabinet and lid. The accompanying user manual separately identifies a 10mm acrylic barrier as standard. Confirm the final barrier material and configuration before ordering. A mechanical clutch is listed in the user manual for anti-clamping and anti-collision operation.
The manufacturer specifies a voltage-free fire-signal input, IPX4 ingress protection, -28°C to 60°C operation and 20–95% RH non-condensing humidity. The turnstile unlocks automatically during emergencies, with fail-safe and emergency escape functions listed. Installation still needs to account for emergency egress, accessibility, foundations, weather exposure and local compliance. The unit is supplied pre-assembled and requires a flat, level finished floor; an optional base plate is listed for unfinished floors.
