Electric Strike (Budget-friendly, Discrete)

How it Works: Works with your existing deadbolt for access control on interior doors. When activated, it releases a bolt to secure the door frame.

Good for: Adding access control to already secured doors. Discreet installation inside the door frame.

Not ideal for: Exterior doors as the primary lock (requires separate deadbolt for security).

Maglock (Easy Access, Budget-friendly)

How it Works: Electromagnet on the door frame holds the door shut with a magnetic pull.

Good for: High-traffic areas, especially glass doors (with appropriate mounting kits) where easy access control is needed. Budget-friendly option.

Considerations:

• New Zealand Building Compliance: May not meet minimum height requirements (1990mm from floor) for some applications.
• Aesthetics: Larger size might be less suitable for design-focused areas.

V-Lock (Drop Bolt Lock, High Security, Discrete)

How it Works: Similar to a deadbolt, but with a "V" shaped bolt for strong locking.

Good for: Exterior doors or high-security areas. Offers strong locking mechanism. Discreet installation inside the door frame.

Considerations: May not be the most budget-friendly option for all clients.

Electronic Mortise Lock (High Security, Discrete)
How it Works: Replaces existing mechanical lock and integrates with access control system.
Good for: Exterior doors or high-security entrances where key override is also desired. Discreet installation inside the door.
Good to Know: Generally more expensive than other options.

Additional Considerations:
