ZKTeco G5: The Ultimate Outdoor Multi-Biometric Access Control Terminal

The ZKTeco G5 is a state-of-the-art multi-biometric access control terminal designed for outdoor use. It supports various biometrics authentication methods such as facial recognition, fingerprint verification, multi-tech cards detection and password.

The device features an 8 inch TFT color touch screen with narrow bezel design that provides a clear display of information. Additionally, the ZKTeco G5 has an IP66 waterproof & dustproof rating as well as an IK04 vandal proof protection level that ensures its durability in outdoor environments.

The ZKTeco G5 runs on Android 9.0 operating system and is powered by a 64bit Eight Core Customized Computer Vision CPU that provides fast processing speeds for smooth operation. It also has ample storage with its 2GB LPDDR3 memory and 16GB eMMC storage.

The device supports various communication methods such as TCP/IP for wired network connections, Wi-Fi for wireless connections and Bluetooth for short-range wireless communication with other devices. It also has USB ports for data transfer or connecting external devices.

The ZKTeco G5 is equipped with a high-resolution 2MP binocular camera that captures clear images for facial recognition. It can also read dynamic QR codes on the ZKBioSecurity mobile application for easy access control management. Additionally, it supports QR code scanning as well as other barcode formats such as PDF417, Data Matrix, MicroPDF417 and Aztec in third-party development projects.

The device can read dual-frequency (125kHz and 13.56MHz) cards as standard for access control management using RFID technology. It also has an optional multi-tech card module that supports various card formats such as ISO14443A/B & ISO15693 & HID Prox.

The ZKTeco G5 has a high protective level with its IP66 rating without a Fingerprint/QR Code Reader and IP65 rating with a Fingerprint/QR Code Reader installed. It also has an IK04 rating that protects it against external impacts.

The card reading distance of the ZKTeco G5 is between 1cm and 5cm which provides convenient access control management without the need for physical contact with the device. The face-camera distance range is between 0.3m to 3.0m (Human height: 0.9m to 2.4m) which allows for easy facial recognition even at a distance.

The face recognition time of the ZKTeco G5 is less than 1s which provides fast and efficient access control management. The face verification accuracy is greater than or equal to 99% which ensures high security and reliability. The device can also support an optional optical fingerprint sensor for additional biometric authentication methods.

The ZKTeco G5 can store up to 100,000 users, 100,000 face templates, 30,000 fingerprints (optional) and 100,000 cards. It can also store up to 5 million records for easy access control management and tracking.

The device supports various firmware functions such as push for real-time data synchronization, schedule bell for setting alarms or reminders, automatic status switch for changing the device status based on predefined conditions, record query for searching and viewing access control records, access levels for setting different levels of access control, groups for managing users in groups, holidays for setting holiday schedules, DST for daylight saving time adjustments, duress mode (password & fingerprint) for emergency situations, anti-passback for preventing unauthorized entry or exit, customization of wallpaper & screen saver for personalizing the device display and tamper alarm for detecting unauthorized tampering with the device.
