The ZKTeco MA500 is an advanced biometric access control terminal that can be operated in standalone mode as well as network mode through TCP/IP or RS485 for software management. Equipped with a robust metal housing and durable backlit keypad, the MA500 is vandal-resistant and IP65 rated, making it suitable for installation in high traffic and harsh environments. It can connect with electric lock, door sensor, alarm, and exit button, and can also perform as a Wiegand fingerprint reader by any 3rd party control panels.

The MA500 has a fingerprint capacity of 3,000 and a card capacity of 30,000. The logs capacity is 100,000. The RF card options include EM (Standard) / IC Card (Optional). The fingerprint sensor used is an optical sensor with protective cover. The algorithm version used is ZKFinger V10.0. The Wiegand signal supports input & output. The device supports ZKAccess3.5 software.
