Description

A spherical LED display that changes the shape of digital content

The ZKDigimax DG01-A4C LED Sphere Display turns digital content into a fully dimensional visual feature. Rather than placing messages on a flat video wall, it presents them across a 500 mm spherical display that can become a focal point above a retail area, store entrance, event floor or museum exhibit. The result is an immersive screen format for projects where visual impact and a distinctive installation matter.

The series includes two pixel-pitch options: DG01-A4C15B at 1.5 mm and DG01-A4C25B at 2.5 mm. Both use black SMD 3-in-1 LEDs with a 1R1G1B pixel configuration. The official brochure specifies a recommended viewing distance of 2 m, helping buyers assess whether the spherical form and pixel pitch are appropriate for the audience position.

Bright, detailed content around the sphere

Brightness is specified at 500–800 nits, depending on order requirements, alongside a 3,000:1 maximum contrast ratio, 140° horizontal and vertical viewing angle, and a 1,920–3,840 Hz refresh rate. The display provides manual or automatic brightness control, adjustable 3,000–10,000 K colour temperature and 65,536 levels per colour. These specifications support colourful image, animation and video content in indoor environments.

The standard 500 mm display diameter gives the product a defined visual scale, while the series is presented as a customisable indoor spherical unit. Its constant-current drive, 10–16-bit processing depth and 281.4 trillion colours provide a technical foundation for vivid, true-to-life display material. Input signals listed in the brochure are JPG, GIF, FLASH and MP4.

Flexible installation for project requirements

The DG01-A4C can be specified for hanging or floor-standing installations. The official specification lists suspension-frame mounting, while the product description confirms hanging and floor-standing designs can be customised to the project. The modular construction allows larger spheres to be disassembled for storage and transport, making the range practical for event and rental workflows as well as permanent indoor displays.

An optional GOB surface treatment is available for projects that need added resistance to collision damage, such as rental or high-traffic environments. It is an optional, additional-cost treatment rather than a standard feature, so it should be confirmed as part of the enquiry. The sphere has IP30 ingress protection and a cold-rolled steel-plate (SPCC) enclosure; installation should therefore be planned for a suitable indoor location.

Content made for a 360-degree focal point

A spherical display is most effective when the content is designed for the form rather than simply copied from a rectangular screen. Consider how the animation, logo or campaign message will read from different areas of the venue, and allow enough space around the sphere for visitors to see it clearly. Planning content, mounting height and adjacent lighting together helps the display deliver a deliberate visual experience.

Plan the complete experience

The brochure illustrates commercial stores, storefronts, rental stages and events, and museums. For the right outcome, consider the suspension or base structure, audience viewing position, content workflow, power, signal distribution and access for rear maintenance before installation. The DG01-A4C has HDMI, Wi-Fi and an RJ45-type communication connection listed in its brochure; confirm the required integration and controller arrangement for the project.
