The ZKTeco FHT3400 full height turnstile uses a four-blade rotor that advances in 90° steps. It provides one controlled pedestrian lane, with a full height stainless steel barrier suited to entrances where movement needs to follow the site’s access permissions.
The 550mm passage is for standard pedestrian access. Entry and exit can be configured independently as controlled, locked or free rotation. Integrated LED indicators use a green arrow for allowed passage and a red cross when passage is denied, giving users a clear visual direction at the turnstile.
The FHT3400 is the four-blade model in the FHT3000 series. The FHT3300 has three blades and 120° rotation; this model has four blades and 90° rotation. Both remain single-lane turnstiles with a 550mm passage. Choosing the FHT3400 changes the rotor arrangement and installation envelope, rather than adding a second lane.
Overall dimensions are 1470 × 1537 × 2182mm, with a net weight of 290kg. Compared with the FHT3300’s 1382.5mm overall width and 260kg net weight, the FHT3400 requires more space across the enclosure and allowance for a heavier unit. Review the model-specific dimension drawing and check delivery access, floor support and the final mounting position before ordering.
The manufacturer identifies ProID10 RFID, FR1500S fingerprint and QR500 QR reader options, as well as third-party fingerprint reader integration. Confirm the chosen reader, access controller and electrical interfaces as one package. The turnstile’s available authentication methods are not a statement that all readers are included as standard.
ZKBio CVSecurity compatibility depends on the installed access controller. Static and dynamic QR code verification require suitable software support. This lets the FHT3400 form part of a managed access system when the relevant controller, readers and software are specified for the site.
Anti-tailgating functionality supports controlled passage through the rotor. Emergency mode unlocks the rotor during emergencies, and the mainboard provides a fire-alarm relay port and RS485 communication port. Coordinate emergency release with the site’s access and safety design; a rotating pedestrian lane is only one part of that arrangement.
The housing and lid are SUS304 stainless steel with a #120-grit hairline finish, with SUS316 available as an option. Removable rotor rods and a mainboard/controller access area support maintenance. The standard full height turnstile controller handles system configuration, entry-log memory and safety logic.
The FHT3400 has an IPX4 ingress rating and an operating range of -28°C to 60°C. Outdoor use requires assessment of rainfall exposure, drainage and corrosive conditions; the installation guide cautions against wet or corrosive locations unless the equipment is suitably rated. Confirm material and protection options for the actual environment.
Prepare a solid, level floor with suitable anchoring, grounding and separation of power and control wiring. An optional base plate supports unfinished-floor installations. The specified supply is AC110–220V, 50/60Hz, with a 40W power rating. Confirm the supplied electrical configuration and the required passage rate for your credential method before installation.
Plan a suitable separate entrance for wheelchairs, larger items and the wider emergency-access route. Browse full height turnstile options, including the FHT2400D where two lanes are required. Ask NZTeco to specify an FHT3400 with your site layout, user numbers, credential requirements and installation conditions.
