The ZKTeco FHT2400D combines two full height pedestrian passages in one turnstile assembly. It provides a defined access point for industrial facilities, corporate sites, government premises and transport facilities where entry needs to be managed through a physical barrier.
The D-series layout is wider than the single-lane FHT2400 turnstile: the FHT2400D footprint is 2018 × 1324 mm, with a 580 mm passage width. Compare the available turnstile types when planning the number of lanes and the entrance layout.
The mechanism releases after an authorised access signal, allowing the pedestrian to push the rotating barrier through the passage. This is semi-automatic operation: the rotor is moved by the person using the turnstile. LED direction indicators give users visible guidance at the entrance.
With the appropriate access configuration, maximum throughput is 20 people per minute using RFID or 15 people per minute using fingerprint verification. Treat these as manufacturer maximums when planning busy changeovers or arrival periods; the reader, credential checks and user behaviour affect actual flow.

The SUS304 stainless steel cabinet and rotating barriers have an IP54 ingress rating. SUS316 barrier material is optional. Install indoors or in a sheltered outdoor position, and assess drainage, exposure and the surrounding environment. Avoid highly corrosive environments such as seaside locations, chemical plants and saline soils unless the proposed installation has been assessed for the application.
Allow for the 2018 × 1324 mm footprint, a suitable mounting surface, power and control cabling, and access for maintenance. The overall height is 2220 mm; confirm the supplied unit and final installation drawing before setting clearances. Plan accessible pedestrian access and emergency escape routes as part of the wider entrance design. Emergency mode is supported, but the full site arrangement needs to be specified for the project.
