ZKTeco BOL1168-F: Fixed Bollard for Vehicle Access Control

Description

The BOL1168-F is the permanent, fix-and-forget bollard for sites where vehicles need to be physically excluded from a pedestrian zone. Once installed it stays in place ? there’s no removal mechanism, no automation, no moving parts to fail.

What it does and what it doesn’t do

• What it does: Physically prevents vehicle entry into a pedestrian zone, guides vehicle traffic flow around it, and provides a visible deterrent against drive-through.
• What it doesn’t do: It’s not a crash-rated anti-ram unit. It will deflect a slow-moving misjudgment but won’t stop a deliberate vehicle attack at speed. For high-threat sites (embassies, government head offices, courts under threat), specify a rated crash bollard from a different category.

• Visibility: Reflective yellow strip ? meets standard visibility requirements for guidance bollards.
• Height: Customisable to suit site requirements ? typical 600?900 mm exposed height.
• Foundation: Concrete-set foundation; confirm slab depth and reinforcement at site survey.
• Spacing: Recommended 1.2?1.5 metre centres for vehicle exclusion with pedestrian access maintained.
