Dual-lens AI people counter for dependable visitor-flow measurement, operational insight and flexible system integration.
ZKDigimax DG05-PC22 people counter gives retail, hospitality, education and public-facing organisations a clear view of how people move through a site. This dual-lens device measures entering, leaving, staying and passing traffic, helping teams turn visitor flow into useful operational information. It is designed for installations where dependable counts, flexible data delivery and practical integration matter more than a basic doorway tally.
Using vision AI sensing, human tracking algorithms and 3D depth information, the DG05-PC22 can distinguish adult and child counts by height within its configured filter range. That makes it a strong fit for entrances, visitor zones, retail departments, libraries, hotels, transport environments and campuses. It allows teams to review traffic patterns, compare busy periods and make better-informed decisions about staffing, layouts, service levels and promotional activity.
The dual-lens design provides a 140° horizontal and 115° vertical field angle, with a stated coverage area of 1.1 to 8.24 m. ZKDigimax specifies accuracy of at least 98% in a standard environment, provided the device is installed within the recommended mounting range and the site conditions are suitable. Installation design remains important: mounting height, the direction of travel, lighting, obstructions and the required counting zone should be confirmed before deployment.
The DG05-PC22 supports data upload through HTTP POST, HTTPS POST, Modbus-RTU, Modbus-TCP and MQTT. This gives a project team options for connecting visitor-flow data to an existing platform, dashboard or building workflow. RJ45 LAN and Wi-Fi communication are supported, while RS-485, power and I/O interfaces give installers further integration options. ONVIF support is also specified for video integration requirements.
Power can be supplied by PoE (802.3af/at) or DC 9 to 36 V, with 12 V stated as the standard supply. The compact enclosure measures 143 × 70 × 40 mm and is rated IP66. It is specified for operating temperatures from -40°C to 55°C and humidity from 20% to 80% RH. An IP rating is not a substitute for a site assessment; final placement, cabling, power and environmental protection should be planned around the application.
For teams managing several locations, the product brochure also describes cloud-platform viewing that can be customised to the organisation’s requirements, together with remote device-status monitoring. This makes the DG05-PC22 suitable for projects that need an operational count at one site or a repeatable approach across a multi-site estate.
A people-counting project is most useful when its data is tied to a clear business question. Before installation, identify the entrance or zone to be measured, the reporting period, the system that will receive the data and who will act on the results. NZTeco can help align the device position and integration method with the measures that matter to the site.
Use the DG05-PC22 to understand visitor flow at a supermarket entry, retail store, hotel reception, library, university building, office, station or public facility. The data can help identify peak periods and compare traffic against staffing, campaigns or service demand. NZTeco can help plan the correct mounting position, network and data-integration approach for the intended outcome.
