The ZKTeco mTS1000 Series tripod turnstile creates a controlled pedestrian lane where floor space is limited. It suits office receptions, gym entrances and staff access points that need a physical barrier linked to an access control system. Bi-directional operation lets the same lane manage entry and exit.
The mTS1000 is a semi-automatic turnstile. After a valid credential is accepted by the fitted access control system, the tripod arms unlock and the user passes with a light push. LED pictograms show the permitted direction. The maximum throughput is 25 people per minute; actual flow depends on the verification method and how people use the entrance.
The cabinet and tripod arms use SUS304 stainless steel, with an acrylic and glass lid. Overall dimensions are 798 × 750 × 950 mm (L × W × H), and the specified passage width is 478 mm. Allow space for the rotating arms, queuing and maintenance access when planning the layout.
QR readers, remote controls and card boxes are available as options. Specify the controller, reader technology, credentials and software together. Confirm the control signals, mounting space and integration requirements before connecting the turnstile to an existing system.
The arms drop during emergencies or power loss to open the passage. The current user manual also describes normally open and normally closed modes. Include emergency operation and access control behaviour in installation testing, and plan a separate suitable route for wheelchair users, deliveries and people who cannot use the tripod lane.
Use the mTS1000 indoors or outdoors under shelter. ZKTeco’s installation guide calls for a level, solid mounting platform, reliable earthing and clearance to open the top lid for maintenance. It advises against corrosive environments. Confirm the site conditions and the specification of the supplied hardware before ordering.
