ZKTeco MK-V/MK-H: Durable Metal Access Control Terminal with IP66 Waterproof Structure

The ZKTeco MK-V and MK-H are weatherproof standalone access control terminals built for exposed outdoor doors and gates. The IP66 metal housing handles NZ rain, salt spray and UV. Backlit keypad and built-in EM card reader (Mifare optional) means a single unit handles PIN, card or combined verification, with no server, software or network required.

Description

For sites where running a network drop and standing up access control software is over-spec, the ZKTeco MK-V/MK-H delivers a complete one-door solution in a single weatherproof box. The terminal installers reach for on warehouse personnel doors, yard gates, equipment sheds and remote site entries where reliability matters more than dashboards.

Built to live outside

IP66 metal enclosure: Rated against driving rain and dust ingress, proven on NZ coastal and rural sites.
Tamper detection: Triggers an alarm output if the unit is forced or removed.
Backlit keypad: Readable in low light, wet conditions and through gloves.

Three ways to verify

PIN only: Programmable code length, multiple user codes.
EM card (125 kHz): Built-in reader for the most common low-frequency cards and fobs.
Mifare (13.56 MHz): Optional add-on module for sites already running Mifare credentials.

Where it fits in NZ commercial sites

Warehouse staff entries, contractor lay-down yards, transformer enclosures, irrigation pump sheds, marine berths, vehicle gate buttons paired with a boom gate. The MK-V is the rectangular keypad; the MK-H is the slimline alternative for tighter mounting positions. Both run independently (fit and forget) but provide a Wiegand output if you later integrate them into zkbio cvaccess or another networked platform.
