The project
Multi-tenant buildings need a clear visitor calling point and a practical way for tenants or authorised building staff to verify and release entry. The solution also needs to fit the wider access-control design without assuming every device or credential will work in every configuration.
AR Electronics selected and installed one ZKTeco VEX-B21L smart outdoor video station for this CP Group property. It provides a single entrance point for visitor calling, two-way communication and supported access credentials.
The solution
The VEX-B21L combines the main outdoor intercom functions in one flush-mounted unit, including its camera, display, microphone, speaker and keypad. It provides a practical entrance interface without requiring those functions to be spread across separate visitor-facing devices.
Its SIP support gives System Integrators more flexibility when designing the wider intercom solution. Compatible third-party indoor stations may also be used where their SIP implementation, product compatibility and the wider project requirements have been properly checked. SIP support does not mean that every SIP device will work automatically.

Partner delivery
AR Electronics completed the System Integration and installation for CP Group. The integrator remained responsible for the complete site solution and for checking the compatibility of any equipment used around the outdoor station.
NZTeco supplied the ZKTeco hardware and provided local product support to the integrator. This partner-led approach allows the installer to manage the site design and delivery while having access to local ZKTeco product assistance when required.
