The ZKTeco TL300B is a Bluetooth-enabled fingerprint smart lock for small commercial and residential doors. The semi-conductive fingerprint sensor reads dry, calloused or worn fingers reliably, and the ZK SmartKey app gives owners user management, audit logs and mobile unlock from a phone. Reversible handle for left or right-hand doors, with around three years of battery life on standard AA cells.
The ZKTeco TL300B is a sensible fit for back-of-house office doors, small retail premises, holiday accommodation and home offices. Anywhere keys-on-hooks are not working anymore but a full networked access system is more than the door needs. Self-contained lock that just needs four AA batteries to run.
The TL300B uses a semi-conductive sensor rather than the older optical type. In practice that means reliable reads on dry, rough or callused fingers, a common problem with optical sensors in trades, hospitality and outdoor work. Enrolment takes about 10 seconds per finger.
