The G3 Pro is the terminal NZ businesses pick when their workforce can’t be reliably enrolled on a fingerprint-only reader and they want a touchless alternative that’s harder to spoof than a face scan alone. The 3-in-1 palm system reads vein patterns under the skin alongside surface print and palm shape ? three biometric signals from one wave of the hand.

Why palm over face or fingerprint

• Fingerprints fail in the field: Trades, manufacturing, food processing, dishwashers and chefs all have hands that wear, scar or stay wet ? fingerprint reads degrade fast.
• Face has its limits: Hi-vis hard hats, surgical masks, full PPE and welding shields all interfere with face recognition.
• Palm vein is internal: Vein patterns are below the skin and effectively impossible to copy from a photograph or surface impression ? much higher anti-spoof rating than face or fingerprint.
• Wave-and-go is fast: Hand tracking tolerates a ?60? angle on the roll axis, so staff don’t need to position carefully.

How it differs from the SpeedFace V5L

The SpeedFace V5L leads with face recognition and is positioned as an access-control reader. The G3 Pro leads with palm recognition and sits in the Green Label time-and-attendance line ? the natural pick when the primary use case is staff clock-in for payroll, with door access as a secondary benefit.
