The BLADE100100 is the large-tunnel X-ray scanner you specify when the items being screened won’t fit in a standard 6040 tunnel ? palletised goods, oversized cabin bags, full-size suitcases, freight cartons and bulk parcels. The 1010 ? 1010 mm tunnel and 200 kg load rating put it firmly in the freight and large-baggage category.
The BLADE6040 has a 610 ? 420 mm tunnel ? fine for handbags, briefcases and small parcels, far too small for a wheeled suitcase or a stacked carton load. The BLADE100100 takes those bigger items and is built for sustained throughput at freight and customs lanes. Both share the same dual-energy imaging and Threat Image Projection workflow, so operator training transfers between the two.
