The Situation
TLC Modular’s Auckland team coordinates a mixed workforce: permanent staff, temporary hires, and contractors. They needed one simple clocking point that’s fast, touch-free, and reliable in variable lighting — and a central system to manage shifts and export payroll-ready reports without adding admin load.
The Solution
Hardware:
1 × ZKTeco SpeedPalm V5L touchless terminal (face / palm / card / PIN).
The device uses a 5″ LCD, WDR low-light camera (2MP), and runs on Linux for stable on-device processing.
Software:
ZKBio Time 9.0 for web-based time & attendance — timetables, shifts, scheduling, reports, and ISO-certified information security practices.
