Tātaki Auckland Limited (Auckland Council’s economic & cultural agency) engaged NZTeco to transform access to the Members’ Lounge at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki. With more than 6 000 active members, the Gallery needed a secure, contact‑free system that could sync member data from Salesforce, issue time‑bound QR / barcodes, and grant entry with a single scan or face read.
Client Background & Governance
Auckland Art Gallery is owned and operated by Tātaki Auckland Unlimited (TAU), a council‑controlled organisation acting on behalf of Auckland Council ~ Source: Auckland Art Gallery.

- QR & Barcode Scanning – Enables fast, contactless entry using codes issued through Salesforce via API.
- Visual Feedback – Custom LED indicators and a large screen provide members with immediate confirmation after a successful scan.
- Real-Time API Sync – Integrated with zkbio cvsecurity to pull live member data from Salesforce, including barcode/QR credentials and membership status.
- Custom Configuration – Device capacity and performance were customised to support up to 12,000 members, with tailored on-screen messaging to match the Gallery's requirements.
Now, when a member’s details are updated or created in Salesforce, the system instantly pushes their barcode or QR access credentials to the ZKTeco SpeedFace V4L Pro device. Members simply scan their code at the entrance to the Members’ Lounge and receive instant visual confirmation. The system ensures that only current, eligible members can gain access.
